Yard Hand - Fairbanks Branch

We are looking for a Full-time, seasonal yard hand. There is a possibility of year-round employment.

Responsibilities
  • • Basic mechanic duties such as equipment assemblies & PDIs
  • • Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and shipments
  • • Washing and general prep of retail sales equipment
  • • Moving equipment/materials in and out of shop
  • • Keeping yard, shop, and parts inventory clean and organized
  • • Completing local parts runs and deliveries
  • • General maintenance activities including snow removal, sanding and cleaning as needed
Qualifications
  • • Equipment and forklift operational experience is a plus
  • • Past mechanical experience is a plus but not a requirement
Requirements
  • • 18 years of age
  • • Ability to pass a drug test
  • • Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record
  • • Ability to take direction well and follow through with little or no supervision
  • • Must be able to work well with others and be part of a team
  • • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend the majority of the day on their feet. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to weather conditions.
  • • Employee will be exposed to oils and general shop materials during daily activities. Company uniforms and PPE will be supplied as necessary.

We are looking for a motivated individual to work in our Fairbanks location and perform various parts/sales related functions. This will often include looking up parts, answering questions, providing knowledge and troubleshooting problems as customers enter the store and need assistance in the purchase of parts, accessories and consumables.

Responsibilities
  • Daily interaction with customers
  • Researching and recommending correct parts/equipment for a given job
  • Assisting customers with replacement/repair parts for their equipment
  • Using an inventory computer system and various equipment and parts websites
  • Inventory control & ordering
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Customer-centric point of view and “yes we can” attitude
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to learn processes and procedures
  • Ability to take direction well and follow through with little or no supervision
  • Must be able to work well with others and be part of a team
Requirements
  • Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week, including Saturdays in the summertime.
  • Must be able to maintain a clean work environment.

Service Technician - Anchorage & Wasilla Branches

We are looking for service technician to work in our Anchorage location and perform work on heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot and estimate repairs on engines, powertrains, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and more.
  • Regular travel to field equipment both in town and remote
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports, accurate timekeeping and expense tracking
  • Competent and thorough use of internal computer systems, including electronic diagnostic tools, parts management and work order management software
  • Knowledge & experience in metalworking, welding and fabrication
Qualifications
  • Must have organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules
  • Must be a motivated self-starter who can maximize productivity while working independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills are required
  • 5+ years of experience as heavy equipment field technician
  • High school diploma or GED or a graduate of vocational technical school
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug screening test
